HONG KONG SAR – Media OutReach Newswire – 16 October 2026 – IX Asia Indexes today announced the 2026 third quarter review of the ixCrypto Index Series. The review results are as follows:
1. Constituent Review – ixCrypto Index Series
1.1. ixCrypto Index ("IXCI")
The number of constituents remains unchanged at 19.

After the change, the free float adjusted market capitalization coverage is 83.86%* (excluding stablecoins, which have 11.58% of the total crypto universe), while the 90-day-average volume coverage is 71.12%*. The recapping at 40% will take effect on 23rd October 2026 (Friday).
Since the last review, crypto total market capitalization increased from USD2.43T to USD2.44T (+0.37%)#, while daily volume decreased from USD96.89B to USD73.25B
(-24.40%)#. Bitcoin remains the largest crypto in the constituent list, with its price increasing by 38.94% since the last review.

1.3. ixCrypto BTC/ETH Indexes
As of the cut-off date on 30th September 2026, the ixCrypto BTC/ETH 50/50 Index ("IX5050") maintains a 50%/50% weighting for the ixBitcoin Index (IXBI) and ixEthereum Index (IXEI). The ixCrypto BTC/ETH Proportional Index ("IXPI") has the previous effective weighting of 86.12% and 13.88% for IXBI and IXEI, respectively.
At the upcoming effective date, IX5050 weightings will remain unchanged at 50%/50%. IXPI weightings will be adjusted to 83.67% and 16.33% for IXBI and IXEI, respectively, reflecting the market capitalization proportions of Bitcoin and Ethereum at the cut-off date.
2. Constituent Review- IX Digital Asset Industry Index Series
2.1 ixCrypto Stablecoin Index
The number of constituents will remain at 5. Stablecoins comprise approximately 11.58% of the total crypto universe, and the ixCrypto Stablecoin Index covers approximately 95.08% of the 90-day average market capitalization within the provided Q3 stablecoin calculation universe.

IX Asia Indexes is honored to welcome Ms. Jennifer Tan and Prof. Rujing Meng to IX Asia Index Advisory Committee ("the Committee"), effective 1 November 2026. Ms. Tan is Founder and CEO of Porrima Limited, and Prof. Meng is Associate Director of the Asia Case Research Centre (ACRC) at HKU Business School.
Prof. Yuk-fai Fong, will retire after serving on the Committee for over 5 years. Prof. Fong joined the Committee in July 2020 and has made valuable contributions to the development of IX Asia Indexes. IX Asia Indexes and the Committee would like to express their sincere gratitude to Prof. Fong and wish him well in his next endeavours.
