The publication was officially launched today by Bishop Dr. T. Jeyakumar, Bishop of the Methodist Church in Malaysia, and Puan Siti Bahijah binti Bakhtiar, Deputy Director, Services and Multilateral Relations Sector, Private Education Division, Ministry of Education Malaysia, bringing together voices from across the Methodist education community.

At the heart of Warkah untuk Perdana Menteri is a simple idea: to give people a space to speak. Through their letters, contributors share their hopes for Malaysia, reflect on the society around them and imagine the kind of future they would like to see. The event was further enriched by performances from three Wesley Methodist schools: the Wesley Methodist School Ipoh Choir, Wesley Methodist School Kuala Lumpur (Private) Choral Speaking, and Wesley Methodist School Kuala Lumpur (International) Dikir Barat, bringing music, language and cultural expression into the celebration.

More than a collection of written reflections, Warkah untuk Perdana Menteri also reflects the kind of learning that happens when students are encouraged to think beyond the classroom.
